It’s the holiday season, but that doesn’t mean we’re sitting around doing nothing :-) Apart from getting the videos of the talks ready for publication, we’re also busy setting up the team for next year’s events.

Maybe help determine what speakers will be on next year’s stage, plan the practical details of the event or help out with communication? Read below what each of our teams does and let us know what you’d like to help out with. Content team

The content team takes care of everything that has to do with selecting and contacting great speakers to give a talk at TEDxGhent. This means brainstorming about what topics would be interesting, contacting the speakers and making sure everything is arranged so they have a pleasant stay in Ghent.

Event team

A good event requires careful planning, which is exactly what our event team does. Every detail that has to do with finding a good location, catering, making sure people are entertained and all the practical details that come with planning an event are their responsibility.

Communication team

The communication team makes sure that the right people know about the event and keeps our community interested throughout the year. Setting up a communication plan and executing it (writing blog posts, keeping social media up to date, sending out press releases, not to mention an offline campaign) is all part of the communication team’s tasks.
ps: Are you better with images than you are with words? We’re also looking for a photographer ;-)
