TEDxGhentSalon – Slow Fashion

Unfortunately, due to the latest developments of the coronavirus outbreak, we have postponed indefinitely the event on March 23rd. We will keep you updated as soon as we have a new date. Thank you all for your amazing enthusiasm to participate in our first 2020 TEDxGhentSalon and looking forward seeing you later this year.

We are back with our TEDxGhentSalon… and this time we will be focusing on “Slow Fashion”

What are you wearing right now? How many items of clothing are you wearing that are made less than 300 km away?
Slow Fashion is an approach to fashion which considers the process and resources necessary to make clothing, primarily focusing on sustainability. Through this TEDxGhentSalon we would like to kick start 2020 by taking a trip around the world of retail.
If you are up for lively discussion and the opportunity to exchange ideas on this topic in a laid back and cosy setting, then all you need to do is join us on March 23 at 7PM O’yo Bar, Ghent.
What is TEDxGhentSalon?

A TEDxGhentSalon is an informal event where we watch, listen, discuss and get to know other like-minded people. We select a topic and gather in a cozy place to watch the best TED(x) talks about it. These TED(x) videos form the basis to kick off a debate about the selected topic. Please note that there are no live speakers involved in TEDxGhentSalons.

Ready for the conversation…? Come get inspired, book your free ticket here.

Sorry, we’re sold out!
