Do you daydream about presenting your findings to a broader audience than just your department colleagues or journal reviewers?
Do your results indicate that you have developed a solution with the potential of improving the state of affairs in your field, but you don’t know how to share it with the world?
Well then, you’re in luck!
It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the 5th annual TEDxGhent PhD/post-doc contest where you will have the opportunity to present your marvelous idea to the public. The winner of the contest will be granted a 6 minute talk on the stage of the TEDxGhent main conference on 20 May 2017, and will receive professional speaker coaching prior to the event.
When?
The PhD contest will take place on 23 March 2017 at 19:00.
Where?
Faculty of Bioscience engineering, Coupure links 653, Blok E, OEHOE.
How?
Each of the selected participants will give a short talk and present their research to the audience. The TEDxGhent jury will rate the presentations and select the winner, with a special prize for the audience’s favourite talk.
